Subject: Generalized Eigenvalue Problem
I am making an inquiry about the following generalized
eigenvalue problem
lambda^2 + lambda [A] + [B]=0
where [A] and [B] are n by n matrices.
If you have knowledge on this topic, please tell me where
I can find out detailed information.
Thanks for your time.

Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering,
Czech Technical University, Prague
Faculty of Applied Sciences, University of West Bohemia, Pilsen
Orthopaedic Clinic of the 3rd Medical Faculty,
Charles University, Prague
MODELLING 94 will provide an interdisciplinary forum in which
researchers in the field of mathematical modelling and
computational mathematics can present results and exchange ideas
and information. The symposium will cover a broad range of
topics relevant to the field of mathematical modelling in
science. These topics will include the following:
* Mathematical modelling and simulation in science and
technology
* Computational methods for the solution of corresponding model
problems
* Methods of numerical algebra and analysis
* Expert systems in science
* Visualization techniques for pre- and post-processing
The MODELLING 94 programme will include invited lectures, short
communications and posters. Papers presented at the symposium
will be published in the Proceedings.
